Responsibility
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized dialysis care plans for patients with renal conditions.
- Monitor and document patients’ vital signs, fluid balance, and response to dialysis treatments.
- Operate and maintain dialysis equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
- Educate patients and their families on renal disease management, dietary restrictions, and self-care techniques.
- Collaborate with nephrologists, dietitians, and social workers to provide holistic patient care.
- Administer medications and interventions as prescribed, with strict adherence to protocols.
- Respond promptly to emergencies or complications during dialysis sessions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with hospital policies.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Nursing with valid enrollment as a Nurse (Renal specialization preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in nephrology or dialysis nursing.
- Proven knowledge of dialysis machines, vascular access, and renal disease pathophysiology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and critical thinking.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is a plus.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and infection control practices.
