Responsibility
- Implement individualized ABA therapy programs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions to teach communication, social, and behavioral skills.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent support for the child.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and progress reports.
- Assist in developing and updating behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on observed behaviors.
- Provide training and guidance to parents and caregivers on ABA techniques and strategies.
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews to discuss client progress and adjustments to therapy plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field.
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification.
- Previous experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children reach their full potential.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with data collection and analysis tools used in ABA therapy.
