Responsibility
- Oversee daily workshop operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of technicians, providing hands-on guidance and technical expertise.
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and implement workshop procedures, policies, and best practices to enhance productivity.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage workshop resources effectively.
- Conduct regular training sessions to upskill team members and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with management to set performance targets and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of workshop activities, including maintenance logs and performance reports.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a workshop or engineering environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of machinery, tools, and workshop equipment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with a hands-on approach.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in workshop operations.
