Responsibility
- Analyze and optimize garment production workflows to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques to minimize waste and enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with production managers to streamline processes and improve quality control.
- Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes.
- Monitor equipment utilization and recommend upgrades or maintenance to maximize efficiency.
- Train and guide production staff on best practices for workflow optimization.
- Generate reports on production metrics and present findings to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial engineering, preferably in garment manufacturing.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in process mapping and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with production planning software and ERP systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
