Responsibility
- Lead and supervise all workshop operations, ensuring adherence to company policies, safety standards, and quality control measures.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve monthly/quarterly performance targets, including revenue, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment, optimizing stock levels and reducing wastage.
- Oversee vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate workshop staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Liaise with customers to understand service needs, provide transparent updates, and resolve any concerns professionally.
- Monitor workshop KPIs (e.g., turnaround time, cost efficiency) and prepare reports for senior management.
- Stay updated on automotive industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to enhance service offerings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. Diploma with extensive experience may be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive workshop management or a similar leadership role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding operational targets in a high-volume service environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures for various brands.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage teams and customer interactions effectively.
- Proficiency in workshop management software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Familiarity with Indonesian automotive regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and drive innovation in service delivery.
