Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on trucks and heavy vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools.
- Repair or replace defective parts, including engines, transmissions, and braking systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards in all repair work.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate repair needs clearly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a truck mechanic or automotive technician.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and truck components.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy equipment.
- Valid driver’s license (preferably for heavy vehicles).
- Certification in automotive mechanics is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
