Responsibility
- Install, configure, and maintain WiFi network infrastructure, including routers, access points, and switches.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations for speed and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues, hardware/software failures, and signal interference.
- Conduct site surveys to assess WiFi coverage and recommend improvements for optimal signal strength.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate WiFi networks with existing systems and ensure seamless interoperability.
- Document network configurations, changes, and maintenance activities for future reference.
- Provide technical support to end-users and address network-related inquiries promptly.
- Stay updated with emerging WiFi standards (e.g., WiFi 6/6E) and security protocols to enhance network capabilities.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1+ years) as a Network Technician, WiFi Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and wireless networking protocols (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Ubiquiti, MikroTik, or Aruba networking equipment.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG).
- Certifications such as CCNA, CWNA, or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
