Responsibility

  • Prepare and cook a variety of Western and Asian dishes for staff meals, ensuring high standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute daily menus, incorporating seasonal and local ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Adapt recipes to accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, and special requests from staff.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Contribute to menu development by suggesting new dishes or innovative twists on classic recipes.
  • Ensure timely preparation and service of meals during peak hours while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Cook or Chef in a professional kitchen, with expertise in both Western and Asian cuisines.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for experimenting with flavors and presentation.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
