Responsibility
- Develop, maintain, and optimize LPUâs official website and related digital platforms to ensure high performance, security, and user experience.
- Collaborate with marketing, IT, and academic teams to implement digital strategies that enhance the universityâs online presence and engagement.
- Monitor website analytics, SEO performance, and user feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Manage content updates, including text, images, and multimedia, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with LPUâs branding guidelines.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, debug code, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and enhance functionality.
- Oversee the integration of third-party tools, plugins, and APIs to expand website capabilities and streamline operations.
- Ensure compliance with web accessibility standards (WCAG) and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, PDPA).
- Provide training and support to staff on web-related tools and best practices to foster a digital-first culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in web development, webmaster roles, or digital systems management, preferably in an educational or corporate setting.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
- Experience with SEO best practices, web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and performance optimization techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
- Familiarity with web security protocols, SSL certificates, and data protection measures.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
