Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for wealth management systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements and regulatory standards.
- Validate investment transactions, portfolio management functions, and system integrations to ensure accuracy, security, and performance.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues and improve system reliability.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that new updates or features do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product managers, to ensure seamless system performance.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- Perform risk assessments and provide recommendations for system improvements to mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in wealth management and fintech to continuously improve testing methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a similar role, preferably within the financial or wealth management sector.
- Strong understanding of wealth management processes, investment transactions, and portfolio management systems.
- Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to wealth management.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) or financial services are a plus.
