Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff to ensure high productivity and accuracy.
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems to track stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security protocols in the warehouse.
- Optimize space utilization and organize warehouse layout for efficient material handling.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fulfillment rates and inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with retail teams to align warehouse operations with sales and distribution needs.
- Resolve operational issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) in warehouse supervision or logistics management, preferably in retail.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop staff.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.
- Familiarity with retail supply chain operations and best practices.
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
- Relevant certification in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
