Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, with a focus on food-related products.
- Lead and mentor a team of warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate stock records.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and distribution teams to streamline workflows and meet delivery deadlines.
- Implement and enforce warehouse policies, including space utilization, equipment maintenance, and hygiene compliance (critical for food-grade storage).
- Prepare and submit reports on warehouse performance, including KPIs such as order accuracy, turnaround time, and cost efficiency.
- Liaise with vendors, carriers, and internal stakeholders to resolve logistics challenges and optimize supply chain processes.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations for warehouse operations, particularly in food safety (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2β3 years of supervisory experience in warehousing or inventory management, preferably in the food/beverage or FMCG sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., ISO 22000, FDA, or local equivalents) is highly advantageous.
- Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Indonesian or Tagalog is a bonus.
- Physical stamina to work in a warehouse environment, including lifting, standing, and operating equipment as needed.
