Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff to ensure productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure accurate record-keeping using warehouse management systems.
- Optimize space utilization and layout to improve efficiency in picking, packing, and dispatch operations.
- Enforce company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Resolve operational issues, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and present performance reports, KPIs, and improvement recommendations to management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or logistics management.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and supply chain processes.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) and best practices in material handling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
