Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and conduct regular stock checks to prevent discrepancies.
- Oversee the safe and efficient operation of warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff to maintain high productivity and safety standards.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with logistics and transport teams to optimize delivery schedules and reduce operational costs.
- Prepare and submit reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational challenges.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the warehouse team or with external partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role in the manufacturing or logistics industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
