Responsibility
- Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and ensure accuracy in inventory records.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to optimize space utilization and maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational standards.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including packing lists, bills of lading, and delivery receipts.
- Implement and maintain efficient workflows to minimize errors and maximize productivity.
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Assist in the preparation of reports on warehouse performance, including metrics on efficiency, accuracy, and cost control.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse best practices.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and warehouse management software.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in warehouse settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
