Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, cross-docking, and dispatch of goods.
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to ensure productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Implement and enforce warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse.
- Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to facilitate timely deliveries and shipments.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and generate reports.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar leadership role in logistics.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing operational demands.
