Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to identify defects or deviations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and procurement, to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze quality data and generate reports to track performance metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations for non-conformances and propose sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Train and mentor staff on quality control best practices, tools, and methodologies.
- Ensure adherence to local and international regulatory requirements, including ISO standards and customer-specific specifications.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably within manufacturing, transport, or logistics sectors.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), ISO 9001, and other relevant industry standards.
- Proficiency in using quality tools such as FMEA, 5 Whys, Pareto Analysis, and SPC.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and quality software (e.g., SAP, Minitab) is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
