Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas, ensuring easy accessibility and proper labeling.
- Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory records.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (if certified).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles as required.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or a similar role (1+ years preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kg) safely.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems (e.g., ERP, WMS) are advantageous.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills in English.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one is a strong asset.
- Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
