Responsibility
- Assist the Warehouse Shift Lead in assigning daily tasks to warehouse staff, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
- Monitor and report on team performance, productivity, and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate with other shifts to ensure seamless handover and continuity of warehouse operations.
- Oversee inventory management, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, while maintaining accuracy.
- Enforce workplace safety protocols and conduct regular inspections to mitigate risks.
- Resolve operational issues promptly and escalate complex problems to senior management when necessary.
- Train and mentor new warehouse staff on best practices, equipment usage, and company policies.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
