Responsibility
- Serve as the primary WMS Subject Matter Expert, providing guidance on system configuration, operations, and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT and warehouse teams to optimize WMS functionality and integrate new features.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for WMS-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Develop and maintain WMS documentation, including user manuals, training materials, and process workflows.
- Analyze warehouse data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on WMS usage, ensuring high adoption and proficiency.
- Work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to implement WMS upgrades and enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies in all WMS-related activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in WMS configuration, implementation, and support.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems, preferably in a logistics or manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Experience in training and mentoring staff on WMS usage and best practices.
- Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements in logistics and warehouse management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
