Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including cargo sorting, routing, and loading/unloading.
- Lead a team of warehouse staff, assigning tasks and ensuring adherence to safety and efficiency standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Optimize workflow processes to minimize delays and maximize productivity during shifts.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and report maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and workplace safety protocols.
- Resolve operational issues or discrepancies in real-time, escalating concerns as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., transport, procurement) to streamline logistics workflows.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage shift-based workflows in a high-volume environment.
- Strong knowledge of cargo handling, inventory management, and warehouse software (e.g., WMS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with staff and stakeholders.
- Physical stamina to perform duties in a warehouse setting (e.g., lifting, standing for extended periods).
- Familiarity with safety protocols (e.g., OSHA, local regulations) and equipment operation.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Basic computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Office, data entry systems).
