Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping of goods.
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency, space utilization, and order fulfillment speed.
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and maintain high productivity levels.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, turnaround time, and inventory turnover.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security protocols to create a risk-free working environment.
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and transportation teams to streamline supply chain operations.
- Resolve operational issues promptly and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics coordination.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team in a high-volume warehouse setting.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems.
- Familiarity with lean warehouse principles, 5S methodology, and continuous improvement practices.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
