Responsibility
- Operate machinery such as cranes and forklifts to handle and transport materials efficiently and safely.
- Transfer mothercoils and prepare slitter knives to ensure smooth production flow.
- Conduct quality checks on products to maintain high standards and minimize defects.
- Package finished products according to company guidelines and prepare them for shipment.
- Prepare and maintain accurate production reports and logs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow instructions from the Head of Department (HOD) to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Production Operator or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with operating machinery such as cranes, forklifts, and slitter machines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to changing production demands.
