Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and conduct regular stock audits.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely material flow and order fulfillment.
- Implement and monitor safety, security, and hygiene standards in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and organize storage areas for efficient access and retrieval.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including packing lists, bills of lading, and delivery notes.
- Resolve discrepancies in inventory counts and investigate root causes to prevent recurrence.
- Train and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorβs degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, including FIFO, LIFO, and cycle counting.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kg) and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in warehouse settings.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve operational inefficiencies.
