Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move and store materials safely.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas to optimize space and accessibility.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to management.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily warehouse operational goals.
- Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of the warehouse to uphold organizational standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in a material handling role.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking tools.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, with proper certification if required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling and recording inventory.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
