Responsibility
- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials and spare parts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to ensure stock levels align with production requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams to forecast material needs and prevent shortages or excesses.
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety protocols, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a culture of productivity, accountability, and teamwork.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to maximize space utilization and improve workflow efficiency.
- Manage the handling of hazardous materials, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and disposal in accordance with safety regulations.
- Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance, inventory turnover, and operational metrics to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the manufacturing or ceramics industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., ERP, WMS) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices for handling raw materials and spare parts in a warehouse setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize warehouse processes and reduce operational costs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in warehouse management or logistics (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
