Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians to ensure optimal performance of food processing equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, ensuring swift resolution to maintain production continuity.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with production managers to prioritize maintenance tasks and align with operational goals.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, spare parts inventory, and equipment history.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in equipment maintenance and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs, equipment upgrades, and parts procurement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision, preferably in the food processing or manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical systems.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a maintenance team.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Indonesian.
