Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping inventory.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
- Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure high productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems to track stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics (e.g., order accuracy, turnaround time, cost control).
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards in warehouse operations.
- Develop and execute process improvements to enhance warehouse productivity and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions.
- Familiarity with lean warehouse principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations in warehouse environments.
