Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock levels.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Develop and enforce warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as accuracy, efficiency, and cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Utilize warehouse management software (WMS) to track inventory and generate reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to motivate staff.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of lean warehouse principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
