Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
- Manage and mentor a team of warehouse staff to ensure high performance and efficiency.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to optimize delivery schedules.
- Monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics to senior management.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve warehouse layout and workflow.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
