Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet company objectives and reduce costs.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors for raw materials, components, and services.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best value for the organization.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to inform procurement strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, logistics, finance) to align procurement activities with business needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
- Manage inventory levels and lead times to optimize supply chain efficiency and minimize disruptions.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the technology, manufacturing, or logistics sectors.
- Proven track record of cost reduction, supplier negotiation, and contract management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
- Knowledge of inventory management, demand forecasting, and lean procurement principles.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations, customs, and logistics is a plus.
- Certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) are advantageous.
