Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices to ensure accuracy.
- Organize and store materials, equipment, and products in designated warehouse locations using proper labeling and inventory systems.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all items are correctly documented and ready for dispatch.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by updating warehouse management systems (WMS) in real-time.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in physical inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and production teams to coordinate material movements and prioritize urgent requests.
- Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental (SHE) policies to maintain a secure working environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in warehouse operations, inventory control, or a similar role in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, ERP software).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately track and manage inventory data.
- Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 kg, and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic English communication skills (written and verbal) to interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one is highly desirable.
