As a Warehouse Checker, you will be responsible for verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring compliance with all government, customer, and company safety, health, environment, and quality policies. Responsibility
- Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders, invoices, and packing lists.
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of products to ensure they meet specified standards and are free from defects.
- Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate stock records.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, environmental, and quality policies as mandated by government regulations and company procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., scanners, forklifts) safely and efficiently to facilitate checking processes.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve operational workflows.
- Document and report any irregularities, damages, or non-conformities to management for immediate action.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment in accordance with 5S standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in warehouse operations, inventory control, or quality assurance roles.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies in quantities, labels, or product conditions.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel).
- Physical ability to lift and move items up to 25 kg, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) to prepare reports and coordinate with team members.
- Knowledge of safety protocols, ISO standards, or HACCP is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends or holidays, as required by operational needs.
