Responsibility
- Manage and track inventory of industrial gas cylinders (full and empty) using digital or manual systems.
- Ensure accurate recording, labeling, and storage of cylinders in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to facilitate the timely dispatch and receipt of gas cylinders.
- Conduct regular stock audits to prevent discrepancies and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently to move heavy cylinders.
- Inspect cylinders for damage, leaks, or defects and report issues to supervisors for resolution.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
- Assist in loading/unloading deliveries and verifying shipment accuracy against purchase orders.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in warehouse operations, inventory management, or a similar role, preferably in industrial or gas-related industries.
- Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., ERP, WMS) and basic computer skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 kg) and work in varying temperatures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of safety protocols for handling pressurized gas cylinders (training provided).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and external partners.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime, as needed.
