Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas, using FIFO (First-In-First-Out) or other inventory management systems.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, verifying quantities and quality to meet customer requirements.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely and efficiently, adhering to all OHS (Occupational Health & Safety) guidelines.
- Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and report discrepancies.
- Label, tag, and document all inventory movements using WMS (Warehouse Management System) or manual records.
- Assist in loading/unloading delivery trucks and coordinating with logistics teams for timely dispatches.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment in compliance with company standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, material handling, or logistics.
- Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 20-25 kg (assistance may be provided for heavier loads).
- Basic literacy in English (written and spoken) for communication with team members and supervisors.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (WMS) or ERP software is a plus.
- Certification in forklift operation or willingness to undergo training (if required).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of safety protocols in warehouse settings (e.g., PPE usage, proper lifting techniques).
- Willingness to work shift hours (if applicable) and adapt to operational demands.
