Responsibility
- Perform regular calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of test equipment and fixtures to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests on manufacturing processes and products to identify defects or areas for improvement.
- Document and analyze test results, providing detailed reports to engineering and production teams for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control procedures and best practices.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of test equipment, ensuring availability and functionality for production needs.
- Assist in the training of production staff on quality control protocols and the proper use of test equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean or Six Sigma projects, to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in the workplace.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or quality control role, preferably within the electronics or automotive industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of calibration tools, test equipment, and quality assurance methodologies.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant quality management systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software (e.g., Minitab, Excel, or SAP).
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
