Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching goods.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and train warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and implement cycle-counting procedures to minimize discrepancies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports to track productivity, costs, and service levels.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all warehouse activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control best practices.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with lean warehouse principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
