Responsibility
- Assist in the receiving, unpacking, and verifying of incoming shipments to ensure accuracy against purchase orders.
- Organize and maintain inventory by labeling, sorting, and storing goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and hand trucks to move materials safely.
- Prepare and process orders for shipment, including picking, packing, and loading goods onto delivery vehicles.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with company and safety regulations.
- Assist in cycle counting and annual physical inventory audits as required.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in warehouse operations, inventory control, or a similar role is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25-30 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Familiarity with safety protocols and willingness to adhere to workplace safety standards.
- Certification in forklift operation or willingness to obtain one is an advantage.
