Responsibility
- Assist in the receiving, unpacking, and verification of incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, including labeling, sorting, and storing goods in designated areas.
- Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with safety standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (training provided if needed).
- Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate freight forwarding activities, including loading and unloading trucks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Assist in preparing shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and delivery receipts.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25-50 lbs (11-23 kg) with or without assistance.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or basic computer skills is advantageous.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime, to support operational needs.
