Responsibility
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure product excellence and compliance with industry standards.
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and optimize efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor and report on quality metrics, providing insights and recommendations for process enhancements.
- Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements in all manufacturing processes.
- Train and mentor team members on quality standards and best practices.
- Participate in the development and review of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Proficient in using quality tools and techniques such as SPC, FMEA, and 8D problem-solving.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., CQE, Six Sigma) is a plus.
