Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to identify cost-effective suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable deals.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (finance, logistics, production) to align procurement with business needs.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and new suppliers.
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and deliveries while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Travel regionally to inspect supplier facilities, build relationships, and resolve procurement issues.
- Prepare reports and analytics on procurement performance, cost savings, and supplier evaluations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (fresh graduates are welcome).
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and procurement software (e.g., ERP systems).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel regionally as required.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin) are a plus.
