Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to optimize purchasing costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best commercial terms.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and align procurement activities with business needs.
- Manage supplier relationships, resolving issues and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
- Lead cost-saving initiatives and process improvements to enhance procurement operations.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, savings, and supplier performance to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and achieving cost savings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective supplier and stakeholder management.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
