Responsibility
- Assist in the receiving, unpacking, and verifying of incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas, ensuring easy accessibility and proper labeling.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently to move materials as needed.
- Prepare and process orders for shipment, including picking, packing, and labeling products.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies to supervisors to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment by adhering to company safety protocols and housekeeping standards.
- Assist in logistics coordination, including tracking shipments and updating warehouse management systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25-50 lbs (11-23 kg) regularly.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, hand trucks) is advantageous; certification is a bonus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in inventory and order processing.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills (e.g., data entry, inventory software) is preferred.
