Responsibility
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management, including labeling, scanning, and stock rotation to ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
- Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and verifying items against order lists.
- Perform daily equipment checks and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily warehouse targets and improve operational efficiency.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standard operating protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Assistant, Forklift Operator, or in a similar role (preferably in logistics or manufacturing).
- Valid forklift operator certification is a strong advantage.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
