Responsibility
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for non-food items, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure the best pricing and service levels.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Coordinate with internal teams to forecast demand and ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce lead times.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
