Responsibility
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Load and unload delivery trucks, verify shipment contents against invoices, and ensure accurate inventory tracking.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment in compliance with company safety standards.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Perform regular equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols to minimize workplace accidents.
- Assist in cycle counting and physical inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a forklift operator or warehouse assistant (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 kg) repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends or overtime, as required.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
