Responsibility
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments, verifying contents against manifests, and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
- Inspect machinery and equipment to ensure operational safety and report any malfunctions.
- Assist in cycle counting and physical inventory processes as required.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and compliance.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (mandatory).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations or a similar role.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including weekends if required.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
