Responsibility
- Assist in receiving, storing, and dispatching goods in accordance with warehouse procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks to ensure data integrity.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report any issues.
- Organize and maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse space and improve operational efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of shipping documents and labels as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in a similar role.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification is an advantage).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
