Responsibility
- Greet and seat guests in a warm and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring all dishes meet presentation and quality standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns with promptness and professionalism.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting tables, replenishing condiments, and ensuring proper table settings.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and electronic transactions with care.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, including wine and cocktail pairings.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Well-groomed appearance and adherence to the company's dress code and hygiene standards.
- Basic computer skills for order processing and POS system operations.
