Responsibility
- Identify, assess, and prioritize security vulnerabilities across systems, networks, and applications.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate and remediate identified vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure timely patching and updates.
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and logs to detect potential threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests to proactively identify risks.
- Document and report on vulnerability findings and remediation efforts.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on vulnerability management processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proven experience in vulnerability management, cybersecurity, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
